Learning Objective:  Students will demonstrate knowledge of argumentative vocabulary and spelling words.
Teaching Objective:  Students will spell the assigned word and write the definition with a minimum of 70% proficiency.

Correct starter from Thursday
I hope that we can eat soon because I am hungry.

Starter:  Diagram the sentence.

Journal:  Write the vocabulary word three times.  Write the definition once. 
Summative:  Vocabulary/Spelling Summative



Assignment:  Complete Argumentative Club Essay (Refer to blog on Thursday, March 17 for handout).  When finished, go into Utah Compose.  Copy and paste your essay into the writing prompt Argumentative Practice Club.  Once you receive your score, click on the red notes, under each category, and follow the tutorials to revise your essay and improve your score.
