LANGUAGE ART

Starter:  Copy the comma rule and examples.  Then use the words from the word bank to write a sentence with correct comma usage.
Rule:  THE COMMA IN A SERIES:  Use commas to separate items in a series.  A “series” is a list of 3 or more items, the last two of which are joined by and, or, or nor. 
Single word examples:  cups, jars, and plates
Series of phrase/clause (groups of words) examples:  cups of sugar, jars of honey, and plates of spaghetti

Assignment:  Go to website www.tinyurl.com/RFSAGEREVIEW.  Do questions 1-15.  Write your percent score, in your student planner on today’s date.
