Assignment
will be done on the extra-large paper it may have a 1” border.
·
Students
will be able to choose mediums: color pencil, oil pastel, pencil, or mixed
medium.
·
Student
is to use at least two or more references to completion of the final. The reference must work well together.
(examples shown in power point)

You
may sketch in pencil (lightly) on paper then using desired medium finish.
·
Steps
in drawing: block in shapes, check proportions, refine and add detail, add
values
·
Elements
within composition: value, texture, form, space
·
Principles
within composition: unity, balance, proportions, size, emphasis
·
You
may have others but they will not be as predominant.
·
Depth
is an important part of your composition; make sure your objects of all kinds
show 3/d, they can also show overlapping, size and placement, they may even
crop (not showing the whole of the item.
· Parents you are to become involved in the
grading process. I would like you to
watch you student take not of how much time they work on the project, they
effort they put into the project. If
they throw it together that should be part of the grading process. I would like you to give them a number score
from 1 – 25. A 25 being they have spent
major time and effort to do the best they can on this project they have even
fulfilled all requirements. Thank you

this project will be worth 75% of your grade make sure you spend time and
talent to do your best. This should be a
project you would be proud to show others.

Due:

work, even a day late, will lose ½ points. Do not be absent on this day or turn
